We (Maria, Sarah and Sophie) started Beneath the Crust because we wanted to share thoughts, tips, and recipes with each other and with all of you, our kind readers.

After the initial euphoria of deciding to launch a blog, we realized that the business of designing and hosting was going to cost us a bit in terms of time and money.

We did not start Beneath the Crust to make money, but we have set ourselves the goal of earning back through the blog the money we initially sunk into it, which is why we decided to join the Amazon Associates Program. 

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. For more information, view our Privacy Policy.

When you click on a link to Amazon from our blog and make a purchase from Amazon within 24 hours of clicking, we will earn a small commission. If we happen to make more than the amount we initially spent to launch the blog, it will go towards the expense of renewing the blog's hosting and domain for the following year. Any more we may make beyond that will help us offset the costs incurred by our obsession with experimenting and creating in the kitchen. (Butter ain't cheap!)

We at Beneath the Crust are firmly committed to keeping your personal information confidential. Any email addresses we collect through the "Sign Up" button will be stored securely until we determine to send out a newsletter. Anyone who signed up with their email address will receive said newsletter, and there will be a clear option to "opt out" if, at that point in time, you no longer wish to receive such email communications.
